From an acclaimed British artist taking residence at The Nautilus Maldives and purposeful ocean initiatives at Nova Maldives, to a new platform for creative talent at Eri Maldives and an action-packed final quarter at Kandima Maldives, the group continues to evolve each property through experiences shaped by its individual identity.

The Nautilus Maldives Celebrates Artistic Freedom and Unscripted Festive Experiences
In the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, The Nautilus Maldives continues to create deeply personal experiences shaped by creativity, discovery and freedom.
From 18 to 21 October 2026, acclaimed British painter Phoebe Dickinson will join the island for Portraits from a Living Postcard, part of The Nautilus’ Masters for Masters creative calendar. During her residency, guests can observe Dickinson at work through Open Artist Studio sessions, join the Paint Your Own Postcard experience and discover her completed Nautilus Collection at the closing showcase.
The Nautilus will also continue its Reef Guardianship efforts, encouraging a deeper understanding of Baa Atoll’s marine environment and the importance of protecting its fragile ecosystems. Further strengthening its position within the international luxury travel and advisor network, The Nautilus has joined the American Express Travel® Fine Hotels + Resorts® programme for 2026.
The year will close with Bohemian Odyssey, a festive journey bringing together unscripted dining, restorative rituals at Solasta Spa, Art of Bohemia experiences and imaginative activities for Young Wanderers. Golden Hour gatherings and festive feasts beneath the stars will unfold around each guest, reflecting The Nautilus’ enduring philosophy of freedom from time and convention.
Nova Maldives Brings Purpose to its Good Soul Days
At Nova Maldives, connection to people, place and the ocean continues to shape its good soul days, with marine conservation and community-led experiences taking focus.
For PADI AWARE Week 2026, Nova will invite Soulmates to explore the marine environment of South Ari Atoll while contributing to its protection. The programme will feature Manta Quest, whale shark snorkelling, Dive Against Debris and coral planting, alongside educational experiences linked to the Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme.
Looking ahead to July 2027, Nova will place a spotlight on solo travel, welcoming independent travellers to experience South Ari Atoll while becoming part of its warm island community.
For the 2026/27 festive season, The Garden Within will bring together ocean discovery, restorative rituals at Eskape Spa, shared dining and island celebrations. Christmas will centre on community, while New Year’s Eve will draw inspiration from the traditional Maldivian Holhuashi, bringing Soulmates together as Nova welcomes the first good soul days of 2027.
Eri Maldives Creates a New Stage for Maldivian Talent
At Eri Maldives, the island continues to evolve through experiences rooted in Maldivian culture, creativity and a genuine sense of belonging.
Central to its evolving calendar will be the Beach Shack Takeover, transforming Eri’s beachfront space into a platform for visiting Maldivian chefs, bartenders, musicians, artisans and wellness practitioners. A rotating programme of pop-ups will range from guest mixologist evenings and sunset acoustic sessions to artisan demonstrations, giving guests new ways to engage with contemporary Maldivian talent.
For the festive season, Eri will embrace La Dolce Vita, inspired by the sweet rhythm of island living. Long lunches beneath the palms, evenings filled with music and celebrations beneath the stars will create a warm and convivial festive atmosphere, grounded in Eri’s connection to people and place.
Kandima Maldives Turns Up the Energy for the Final Quarter
Kandima Maldives is heading into the final months of 2026 with a seriously stylish calendar of sport, adventure and entertainment across its island destination.
Oktober Adventures will bring high-energy experiences across Fast Track and Aquaholics, joined by visiting talent including Fidan Agushi, racing driver Sebastian Melrose, football freestyler Hadiya Hakeem and fitness expert Joshua. Oktoberfest at Breeze Beach will add Bavarian-inspired flavours and entertainment before the month closes with Halloween Haunted Adventures.
The festive season will take on a Showtime Fairground theme, with appearances from The Wingroves, Dustin Brown, Lucy Bronze and Ona Batlle, alongside experiences across PlaySpace and Fast Track. The KULA Art Festival and KULA Run will bring Maldivian creativity into the programme, while festive dining and entertainment lead towards New Year’s Eve. The celebrations will continue into 2027 with music, live entertainment and fireworks.
