Three nights of guest bar takeovers, then a limited-edition Negroni menu for the rest of the month
Abu Dhabi, UAE, September 2026: This Negroni Week, Al Hanah Bar located in Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi is celebrating the legacy of the iconic Negroni with a limited-edition menu featuring bold interpretations of the classic cocktail.
The week begins with three consecutive evenings of exceptional mixology and live entertainment with bar takeovers by bartenders from Salmon Guru and Signor Sassi in Dubai as well as Manhattan Lounge in Abu Dhabi. To extend the occasion, Al Hanah Bar will be offering a special Negroni menu for the remainder of the month.
To commence the activities, on Monday, 21 September, Kreidy Elie Bassam and Pablo Gaston Herrera Machuca of Salmon Guru Dubai will launch the celebrations with a curated selection of hand-crafted cocktails, accompanied by high-energy house music and a live music performance.
On Tuesday, 22 September, Berina Senderovic of Signor Sassi Dubai will take over the bar, complemented by a laid-back soundtrack of jazz and soft music. The programme continues on Wednesday, 23 September, with a vibrant Latin-American inspired evening led by Pasindu Don and Jude Silva of The Manhattan Lounge, Abu Dhabi alongside live vocal entertainment.
From 21 to 23 September, guests can also enjoy live cigar rolling, engaging fireside conversations and interactive afternoon masterclasses. Led by each evening’s guest bartenders, the sessions will offer insight into their personal journeys and industry expertise while exploring cocktail-making techniques, mixology insights and expert tips, followed by a Q&A session.
The celebrations will continue throughout the rest of the month with a special menu masterfully created by the Al Hanah Bar team, taking guests on a flavour-led journey across the globe. Inspired by Japan, the Ume & Oak Negroni brings together whiskey, Campari, plum sake and sweet vermouth. The Arabian Negroni offers a bold, aromatic twist with gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, Arabic coffee, cardamom and Oloroso sherry, while the Caribbean-inspired Tropical Negroni blends coconut-fat-washed gin with Disaronno, orgeat and chocolate bitters. The Agave Negroni is a smoky, Mexican-inspired creation combining mezcal, Ancho Reyes, Campari and cacao-infused sweet vermouth, and finally, rounding out the menu is the Classic Negroni from Italy featuring gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.
