Ginori Terrace at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai Marks Pinktober with an Afternoon Tea Inspired by Remarkable Women

Throughout October, a contribution from every Afternoon Tea will support Al Jalila Foundation’s #PINKtober campaign for breast cancer research and treatment in the UAE.

Dubai, UAE, October 2026 — This October, Ginori Terrace at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai turns its Afternoon Tea experience pink. Set against the backdrop of the Dubai Water Canal, the Pinktober Afternoon Tea is served daily from 2pm to 6pm, with every sweet and savoury creation on the menu named after a woman whose story still inspires.

Every Table for a Cause

Throughout the month, every table becomes part of a meaningful cause, as a contribution from each Afternoon Tea goes to Al Jalila Foundation’s #PINKtober initiative, supporting breast cancer research and treatment in the UAE.

“In every shade of pink, there is a story of strength.”

This year’s menu draws inspiration from that simple yet powerful line, opening fittingly with the formidable Mrs Caroline Astor, the Gilded Age society doyenne and a muse and inspiration for the St. Regis brand. The Caroline sets the tone with a soft raspberry ice cream and a note of rose, a small nod to the grand soirées she was known for.

The Menu

Savoury

The Marie — for Marie Curie. Wild smoked salmon on spinach tramezzini with beetroot gel and salmon roe.

The Audrey — clean and understated: a cucumber confit roll, cream cheese, avocado and micro herbs.

The Josephine — a shrimp cocktail with a fitting sense of theatre.

The Frida — Cecina de León, Emmenthal, crème fraîche and figs on white tramezzini.

The Jane — for Jane Goodall. An earthy butternut and ricotta tart finished with maple butternut and chervil.

Sweet

The Elizabeth — for Queen Elizabeth II. Plain and cranberry scones, baked fresh and served with Cornish clotted cream and jam.

The Coco — a pink macaron with pistachio mousse and a chocolate kunafa crunch.

The Diana — fresh fig with an almond tartelette and vanilla diplomat cream.

The Serena — homemade praline beneath a hazelnut crunch.

The Maya — for Maya Angelou. The finale, with mango and lime sponge.

Served on Ginori 1735

Served on exquisite Ginori 1735 porcelain, the pastries are set against pastel pink hues and hand-painted blue motifs, on a terrace dressed in the house’s Oriente Italiano designs and overlooking the shimmering Dubai Water Canal.

This Pinktober, Ginori Terrace comes together in support of the Al Jalila Foundation, raising awareness and contributing to cancer research while paying homage to the remarkable women who have shaped history. An afternoon of thoughtful indulgence, the experience offers a meaningful moment to celebrate their stories, strength and legacy.
